This was the SEA 2016
Chance for Start-ups: For the first time ever, the SEA Pitch-Day took place one day before the gala evening. 15 selected Start-ups had the possibility to present their project to our jury members, a number of potential investors, interested visitors and guests. This event will be a fixed part of the SEA – Initiative and will be a meeting point to build important alliances between companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
Together with 250 top-class guests out of economy, science, politics and society the most outstanding projects have been awarded on November 17th at the SEA-Gala. Of course the main focus lies on those inspiring entrepreneurs and pioneers, who create a livable future with their visions.
The gala was opened by a thrilling keynote speech from Jim Walker, Co-Founder of the Climate Group and Executive Director of Climate Mobilization Fund and followed by a captivating moderated interview of Wilhelm Molterer, Managing Director European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) and Marc Fähndrich, Representative of the European Commission.
It was also a great pleasure to welcome Mavis Tingying Wang the founder of Heaven Gaia and first big cooperation partner of the SEA from Asia as well as a huge business delegation of China.
The guests have been led through this wonderful evening by Corinna Milborn and Stuart Freeman, while enjoying a multi-course gala menu and the breathtaking voices of Beau Dermott, a young talented singer of „Britain’s Got Talent“ and “Chorus Juventus”, Wiener Sängerknaben ORG. As an additional show act of the evening the legend Fashion and Jewellery Show from ‘Heaven-Gaia’ completed the programme.
